If anyone told me that crochet would become a spring trend for 2013, I would have probably laughed in their faces. Partial to the Bohemian style of fashion, crochet, a fashion factor from the 70's, wasn't something I would instantly look to as a piece for the wardrobe. However, the more I see it, the more I am falling for it and the more crochet pieces I am looking to buy for the spring/summer trend.

Crochet which has a tendency to remind one of drink coasters, has been reborn in the hands of designers such as Diane Von Furstenberg who have modernised the bohemian knitwear into pieces one wouldn't mind wearing down the street. You could easily pair a crochet top with a vintage jacket, a tailored blazer for utter sophistication or by its lonesome for that true bohemian flavour. Or perhaps a figure hugging crochet dress is more your style? It comes across as more lace than crochet and is definitely something that would be so cute for the summer! You could even spring for a crochet bag for those summer trips to the beach, or maybe a crochet swimsuit overthrow? There's something for everyone!

Crochet would be absolutely perfect for music festivals and lo and behold! Music festival season is right around the corner; Reading festival, Coachella, Wireless etc! Just imagine, the sun beaming on you with the music blaring, whilst you and your friends dance around the parks carefree and in pure bliss in your crochet dress! Sounds tempting doesn't it?
