University Outfit Of Those Days.

Monday, October 29, 2012 Unknown 0 Comments

Sooo, third year at university...and gosh has it gone by FAST!!! I thought it would be quite cool for you guys to see some outfits I wear in and around campus so viola!! I shall be doing university outfit of the days very often :))

I like my casual outfits for uni; jumper and jeans, depends on ze mood, but I'll always amp the outfit up via accessories, or hairstyles etc but I decided to wear ankle boots this time just to add that pizzaz ;)

I loved what my twin Jodie (my sister from another mister;) ) was wearing & graciously she agreed to let me take some pictures of her outfit :D

Jodie's definitely on a Biker chick chic flex lately and this is just one of her many outfits to prove it.

(8) Portobello road, Portobello road / Street where the riches of ages are stowed... (8)

Wednesday, October 24, 2012 Unknown 0 Comments

Last weekend, one of my dolls Ayesha and I took a trip to Portobello Road market. It was the first time I'd ever been and my mind had made up pre-journey what the market would look like. Have you guys ever seen the movie Bedknobs and Broomsticks? If yes, then that was how I pictured it, if you haven't heard, youtube it and watch! Legendary Film!!
I loved the market!! I didn't feel like I was in London at all!! It was crazy!! From genuine Military jackets to Vintage 1920's stock to fresh Jamaican food been cooked on the grill (yum), Portobello road really is the street where the ages of riches are stowed!
I managed to buy a genuine Kimono which I've wanted forEVER for £30 on sale! Can you imagine??! And a pair of massive gold circus inspired earrings :) There was sooooo much more I wanted to buy, but I needed to remember there were other clothing items I actually NEEDED rather than WANTED ;)
Here are a few pics from our day :)

We also made a quick stop at Camden and Westfield, so it was busssyyy but such a wicked day for us both!! :D

How to Style Inspo.

Sunday, October 14, 2012 Unknown 0 Comments

Jennifer Lawrence a.k.a rising superstar actress has eyes all on her and has been for quite a while now! Whether it has to do with her improved fashion sense and high quality acting *shrugs* but Jennifer literally has the whole world at her feet.

Whilst doing my daily fashion search, I stumbled across a candid of Jennifer out and about in L.A (above picture) and quite liked the outfit that she had put together. It actually gave me an idea for a Autumn/Fall look.

This look is perfect for Autumn chills and you still get to look fabulous strutting around!! If you wanted, you could even swap the crop tee for a knitted jumper just for that extra warmth and the litas for a pair of creepers!

Celebrity Style Crush: Leigh Lezark

Sunday, October 07, 2012 Unknown 0 Comments

Even though it's late...Happy October everyone!! :D Autumn has definitely hit London and I am ready for it!! I have a lot more free time at that moment (by that I mean I have one week, ha!) as the past two months have been H-E-C-T-I-C!! This week, expect a few blog posts and what better way to start with...than a Celebrity Style Crush?? ;)
As you guys will have known, Paris Fashion Week Spring 2013 has been underworks with celebrities all over the world flying into the French Capital. One celebrity whose fashion sense stood out for me, was Leigh Lezark.

The beautiful DJ/Model turned up for various shows looking nothing short of fabulous. This outfit was definitely my favourite of the ones she wore; never have I seen someone make a turtle-neck jumper look so damn stylish and those pink heels are FAB!!!! I love how chic the outfit is; this is definitely something you could re-create and wear out. A black turtle-neck, a skater skirt and some heels and you've got yourself that look!!

Leigh has such a unique retro look to her, which is what I think makes her stand out. The outfit again is very simple but she WEARS the outfit rather than the outfit wearing her which again makes her look so stunning!! Her make-up gives a tribute to the vampy trend for Autumn/Winter too. Coloured tailored peg leg trousers, a nice pair of stillettos, a quilted handbag, a side zip leather jacket and you my friend are ready to go!!

This look reminds me very much of Katy Perry for some reason...but this half pantsuit-half sweater/jumper piece is incredible. This type of ensemble would be difficult to find but if you find a sweater/jumper with trousers with the same pattern, you're in for the gold. I recommend Vintage stores!

I get Katy Perry again here too!! The 80's style Grandad sweater-LOVE!! Plus those quirky chain sunglasses *shakes head* I'm done. Leigh has definitely reminded me how vital accessories can be to complete an outfit. Go grab yourself a grandad jumper, chain sunglasses, skinny jeans and ankle boots and voilĂ !!

Leigh Lezark is definetly fast becoming one of my style icons!!

xoxo
